I’m Jessica Wulsin, a somatic trauma therapist. I work with adults of all genders who are ready to explore life in a new way. People who are tired of just getting by. Together, we slow down and begin to notice how your nervous system is showing up in your everyday life. Before we dive deep into trauma healing, we create the safety and connection needed to go there.
This is not a quick fix. It’s consistent, grounded work that we must take week by week, breath by breath. Whether we’re working together for three months or a full year, you’ll build lasting tools for nervous system regulation, stress relief, and emotional clarity. Over time, the fight-or-flight response that once ran your life starts to loosen its grip.
My clients are often practical, thoughtful people. They’re doers, thinkers, and achievers who’ve tried to think their way out of pain. In our work together, we learn to listen to something deeper than the mind. We tune into the body, explore the spiritual, and shift into new ways of being.

Somatic Experiencing
Somatic Experiencing begins with the body. We work gently with the physiology of trauma using movement, breath, and sound. Over time, you’ll build your own toolkit of resources you can return to when navigating anxiety, depression, big life transitions, or the daily stressors of modern life.
These sessions are available to clients worldwide.
What is Somatic Healing?
Somatic healing is body-based therapy that helps you tune into your nervous system, where your stress, trauma, and emotional patterns often live long after the original distressing experience has passed.
Instead of only talking about your pain, we notice what’s happening in your body, moment to moment. We work with sensations, movement, breath, and sound to help your system release what’s been stuck and gently return to balance.
Somatic healing is especially helpful if you feel “off” but can’t explain why. If you’ve done talk therapy and still feel stuck. If your body is holding anxiety, tension, or burnout, even when your life looks great from the outside or sounds great on paper.

Before I became a somatic therapist, I lived many lives—teacher, cook, nanny, and more. Over the past 10 years, I’ve come to know that helping people heal from trauma is what makes me feel most alive, most like myself.

Somatic healing can be magical, and it would be an honor for me to be your “trauma doula,” and to help facilitate your healing to help you feel more alive!
This happens when we are both in attunement with ourselves and our nervous systems, when we’ve built a strong rapport, when you have learned the mechanics of navigating somatically, and when we’ve entered into a cadence that sets for small births of stuck stress and energy from your body. Small discharges happen, and you experience more relief, agency, and ultimately, more feelings of being Alive!
I will guide you through the birth of outdated stress responses and trauma. You will give birth to your new energy. Together, we build a tool kit so that during each journey of birthing your outdated stress responses, you can use tools to further facilitate this process.
Ultimately, to live a more present and fulfilled life we must learn how to tolerate experiences of stress and move through them more, shutting them down less. Through this process, we build strength and capacity to do hard things, and to experience discomfort with less fear, and more strategy to tolerate the discomforts of life, so we can truly experience the incredible wonder of life.
